What is the main focus of the masterclass?
This year’s masterclass theme is Gait Analysis in Clinical Practice. Our speakers will delve into a wide range of topics related to gait, exploring its application across various conditions, age groups, surgical interventions, and sports settings. Through insightful presentations and interactive workshops, they will enhance your clinical decision-making skills and demonstrate practical ways to integrate gait analysis into your practice—ultimately helping you deliver more effective, individualized treatments.
Who is this masterclass for?
This target audience for the content we have created is ideally for podiatrists, physiotherapists, sports scientists, researchers , and anyone within an MSK field. If you are unsure if this conference is appropriate for you, please email andrea@run3d.co.uk
I don't own my clinic, is this masterclass still good for me?
Yes! Many of our previous attending delegates work within a practice, and we usually have a few students as well.
I don't use gait analysis in my clinic, is this masterclass appropriate for me?
Yes! You do not need to currently have gait analysis in your practice to attend. Whilst this masterclass will be focusing a lot on gait, we will be exploring different associated pathologies, rehabilitation and surgery. If you're interested in gait analysis, that is a good place to start!
Where do I park my car in Oxford?
As with many venues in Oxford, we do not have any dedicated parking for our event. We recommend other forms of public transportation such as train and bus if you can. Otherwise, we have made some parking suggestions on our website here.
Where is a good place to stay in Oxford for the masterclass?
We have made some recommendations here.
What should I wear to the mastercass?
This is most commonly asked question, so if you're looking at this you're not alone. We do not have a formal dress code for the masterclass and as it's a long day, we do want you to be comfortable. However, as it is a professional masterclass within the University of Oxford, we encourage smart casual attire.
Do I need to bring food, or will food be available on the day?
Throughout the day, there will be regular tea and coffee breaks to keep you refreshed. There will also be an hour break at lunch time to enjoy a hot lunch in the newly refurbished trinity dining hall ( this is included in your ticket).
This year, after the masterclass we will be convening in the Garden Room next door for a post masterclass drinks reception, sponsored by ALTRA, where we will enjoy beverages and canapes while you network with your fellow delegates and speakers.
Please note there is no food or beverages allowed in the auditorium where our morning lectures take place. Also, if you have any food allergies, please get in touch with andrea@run3d.co.uk
