A Run3D/Walk3D pop-up clinic is a dedicated day service where we perform 3D gait assessments in locations that do not currently offer the Run3D/Walk3D service. These clinics provide the same high standard of service as you would receive at one of our partner clinics.
Run3D is an Oxford University company. Our gait analysis platform was developed by scientists at the University of Oxford to bring gold-standard motion capture technology into everyday clinical practice, making it accessible to all. Our pop-up clinics are a step towards achieving this goal.

Run3D and Walk3D are designed to help anyone experiencing lower-limb musculoskeletal pain while walking or running. These services are suitable for individuals of all ages and abilities. We’ve helped everyone from 8-year-olds to 80-year-olds, including Olympians, professional athletes, recreational runners, and those who simply want to walk comfortably to the shops.
We only need 30 seconds of running or walking to collect the necessary data to identify the cause of your concerns. Before this, you’ll have the opportunity to practise briefly on the treadmill to familiarise yourself with it, ensuring that you can walk or run comfortably during the assessment.
We understand that plans can change. If it is more than 48 hours before your appointment, you can reschedule or cancel your appointment using the link in your confirmation email. If it is less than 48 hours before the appointment, you may still cancel, but no refund will be provided.
• Shoes: Bring running shoes (if you’re running) or regular walking shoes. Avoid walking boots with ankle support, as they may prevent accurate measurement of ankle motion.
• Clothing: Running shorts or Lycra shorts are ideal. If you prefer leggings, they must be skin-tight ove the knees, as accurate placement of markers on the knee joint is essential for motion measurement.
If there’s anything else you’d like to know, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly via info@run3d.co.uk. We’re happy to address any concerns or provide further details about our services.
