Run3D for Footwear
Running injuries are multifactorial and require in-depth analysis on all contributing elements. We strive to help you optimize all contributing variables to improve your running.
Foot and ankle movements are very difficult to accurately assess by eye and are often mis-diagnosed. The ability of your foot to absorb load is a very complex process and is impacted by more than just the shoe you wear. Excessive or ‘over’ pronation can be driven by an increase in movement from somewhere else in the body, such as the hips. Although it is important to ensure the right shoe for your foot-type, relying only on the structure of a shoe to reduce the excessive movement of the foot may not be a very effective solution. This is why we take a holistic approach to helping you choose your footwear.
Running shoes come in many different shapes and sizes that will be individual to each person’s needs and preference. 3D gait analysis will help to look at the whole picture and help you choose the most appropriate shoe you need for your movement patterns and structure.
